Members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, including heads of international organizations and military attachés, visited the Kalbajar district on Wednesday.
The diplomats were accompanied by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.
They first toured the Sugovushan and Sarsang reservoirs, where they were briefed on the completed work there.
They then visited the “Yukhari Vang” Hydroelectric Power Plant. This plant, with a capacity of 22.5 MW, is owned by “Azerenerji” OJSC and is located on the Tartar River. As part of President Ilham Aliyev's strategy to transform the liberated territories into a green energy zone, the “Yukhari Vang” Hydroelectric Power Plant is the largest green energy source established in the region following the victory in the Patriotic War.
The visit also included a stop at the Khudavang Monastery Complex and the “Istisu” mineral water plant.
The “Istisu” plant, equipped with modern automated bottling lines and robotic warehouse management systems, has an annual production capacity exceeding 100 million glass bottles and is known for its exceptional quality.
