The most expensive cucumber in the region is sold in Azerbaijan – List
Currently, the selling price of 1 kilogram of cucumber in leading supermarkets in Azerbaijan is about 2 manats.
Yeniavaz.com reports that compared to the same period last year, the price of cucumbers has increased 3 times.
For comparison, in July last year the average selling price of 1 kilogram of cucumber in Azerbaijan was 70 kopecks.
It should be noted that in comparison with the countries of the region, cucumbers are sold at the highest price in Azerbaijan. For example, let’s assume that in one of the country’s leading supermarkets, “Bravo” 1 kilogram of cucumber (melit) is sold for 1 manat 88 kopecks.
In another Neptune supermarket, 1 kilogram of cucumber (melita) is sold for 2 manats 10 kopecks.
In one of the leading supermarket chains in Armenia, Tsiran, 1 kilogram of cucumbers imported from Russia is sold for 350 drams (1 manat 54 kopecks).
At Megamarket, one of Russia's leading online retail chains, 1 kilogram of locally produced cucumbers is sold for 90 rubles (1 manat 78 kopecks).
In one of Turkey's leading supermarket chains, Migros, 1 kilogram of cucumbers is sold for 24.95 liras (1 manat 28 kopecks).
On Shirik.ir, one of Iran's leading online trading networks, 1 kilogram of cucumber sells for 21,000 tomans (85 kopecks).
